Apple CEO Tim Cook tapped to advise President Trump's 'Office of American Innovation'
Many good comments here. If the government was a business it would be bankrupt. The whole point to compare it to a business is that it needs to meet the customers needs and also needs to be efficient enough to balance a budget. Yes you can go to extremes and say Monopolies don't need to take care of customers. But most good businesses out there absolutely need to treat the customer like royalty. -

Apple CEO Tim Cook tapped to advise President Trump's 'Office of American Innovation'
The role of the government is to serve the American People. So yes in a sense we are the customer. And yes the government should be run like a business. Meaning fiscally responsible and held accountable to perform to budget and productivity measures. As for the comment in the article about if you appose his policy then you should pack up your toys and go home is such an immature position. Nothing would ever get done if leaders took that position. Rather work harder to find common ground that we can work to build a better future. Now that is how it should be done. -
Apple investigating accessory that turns iPhone, iPad into full-fledged touchscreen laptop...
This is not a great implementation but I love the concept. I believe there is a place for computer work stations that recognize a users iPhone and then uses the iPhone for the experience custom tailored per user. One could use an improved version of airplay to accomplish this but a tethered version could work also I guess. In situations where a user may need more screen real-estate for apps and such may make some sense. Would take some hours of thinking to fine tune this thought...
