  • Apple cleaning hundreds of thousands of titles from App Store in Review Guidelines crackdo...

I believe that Apple originally allows crap in at times to boost numbers for marketing purposes...so many titles should not have ever made it into App Store in the first place.  But I am glad they are cleaning this up a bit.  Should do 2 rounds of cleanup and then make it a practice to do this every quarter.

  • Apple's Mac mini an 'important product,' staying in lineup

    Mac mini 901 days
    Mac pro 1202 days

    Yeh real important
Are you one of the single-digit percentage of Mac customers who actually own a Mac Pro? If not, why complain?
What does that matter? It is not ok to abandon your users like this.
I find the insesant complaining by people who don't even own or plan to own Pros childish and revealing an ulterior motive.

As for the line, while it's easy to build products in the safe confines of your head, reality is a different beast. things happen. As Craig explained they bet on parallel processing being the future of GPUs but the industry didn't go there. Pro was thermally constrained by this bet. things happen. time machines don't actually exist.

But it let me guess, you've never misstepped at your job or business? Must be nice. Then again, you don't make as many forward thinking, big bets and risks with your product lines as Apple does. With their big bets come big rewards.
Right...heaven forbid someone from being thoroughly disappointed in Apple for not updating a technology product for 2-3 years.  Definitely an ulterior motive there.

  • All-new Mac Pro with modular design, Apple-branded pro displays coming in 2018

I am glad Apple is not dropping the high end pro customer range of its product line.  While it is good to hear this news it is unacceptable to me that Apple would treat a segment of its customers like this.  There is no excuses.  It will be interesting to see if they listen to the feedback from the last Mac Pro.

  • Concept imagines Apple's 'iPhone 8' with Siri-based augmented reality

I am not sure why any space is taken up at the top for the status icons. My phone just works 99.9% of the time so why do I need to know signal, battery, time or if I am connected to BT??? In many ways it is similar to cars...how many people need to know the voltage of the battery? Or RPM's? I need to know speed any then anything else is custom. Fuel I just need to know when I am at 50 miles of range. Seems trivial but much is wasted.
