If you can’t control display settings from the Mac (volume, brightness, etc) then it’s a non-starter in my book. 

This is related to one of my biggest gripes about all the emergency features on the Apple Watch and iPhone.  When you accidentally activate any of them in a hurry to cancel it and the way to cancel it is very subdued compared to the activate function. It can cause you to panic while trying to find the deactivate option before time runs out.  This could be changed ever so subtly so the X is much more apparent. 

There’s a very obvious easy solution for allowing messaging platforms to communicate freely and easily without breaking encryption.  You do it all on device.  For instance if you want WhatsApp messages in iMessage. You have to have the What’s app app installed. But on install you get promoted to connect to the iMessage app. From then on you never open Whatsapp it works like a plug-in within iMessage. 

Close to what I’m looking for.  I need a magnet to stick to my existing built in Qi charger in my car and then the adhesive ring for the phone.  The car charger is useless because the phone slides off the charging point.  

So just to clarify.  This could be used with just the HDMI sync box and the light strip if you only want it for TV bias lighting and don’t care about IOT remote control?   Also it doesn’t appear that they have a kit that includes the sync box and lights?  Looks like separately it’s about $400.  Is that correct?
