  • Apple officially discontinues AirPort router product line, available while supplies last [...

I'm very sorry to hear that. I have an AirPort Express that I bought in 2010. The only times it was reseted was when the power gone out. Still works like new on my (not small ~1700 sqr ft) apartment.

  • Lawsuit claims Apple cribbed Apple Watch heart rate sensor tech, hints at work on glucose ...

The patent is invalid. It describes every pulse oximeter ever made. Which, by the way, are wearable devices, usually put on the tip of an index finger!

  • Stop panicking about Apple's rumored switch from Intel to its own chips in the Mac

Don’t care about Windows! I’ve saved for quite a bit to get my Mac. No boot camp, no virtualization, only Mac apps!

This way not only I (in my small way) can reward the developers who support my platform of choice, but also nudge (a tiny bit) the holdouts.

Also, I dare say, the Intel chip is one of the most—if not the very one—expensive component inside a Mac. So it should be possible to expect substantial price cuts even with Apple keeping its—much deserved—margins.

Also, I’d very much like to say good bye, forever, to Intel graphics, but that may be coming sooner than an A-series Mac!

Now, if only some developers supporting CUDA could jump on the Metal 2 bandwagon, I’d be a much happier camper!

  • 15-inch MacBook Pro refresh could have Intel's new six-core i9 processor

LOl one day the A13, the next day the I9 but Apple has proven incapable of even realising mac models. Years go by and ain't noting happening so hooey with the chip gossip.
Time for little timmy cookie and his loser minions to ride out of town!

  • April Fools: get ready for the worst jokes in the tech industry

    sfolax said:
"April Fools" then continues to post links to his own previous articles. DED, you need to relax a little and stop being so defensive on everything.
How many times does this have to be said? No. One. Else. Is. Calling. Out. The. Media. The whole point of DED articles is to defend against what no one else (except the Macalope) will call out as the preposterousness that it is. The whole point of the article is to be defensive, because most normal tech media attacks Apple all the time and builds up these false narratives.
You are aware that you are responding to a Google bot, with less than a dozen posts, aren't you?
I've been reading DED articles here for more than 10 years now. If you care to look, only over the last couple of weeks, you could find anything about his rhetoric being defensive. That's the new "flawgic"—as DED himself likes to put it—from Apple haters and trolls.
