Apple would do well to find a better solution to Photo Library. As of now, I have 35 GB of photos and home videos (as stated by iCloud and the size of the Masters folder), which I believe to be somewhat typical.

Trouble is, my Photos Library is beyond 46 GB! Photos clogged my SSD with 11 GB of redundant information, related to my own media! That, combined to Apple asking an arm and a leg for better storage options on its MacBooks, makes for a preposterous situation!

Before anyone says anything, I don’t have duplicated data, or edits. The offending storage hogs are thumbnails caches and facial recognition stuff that Photos creates by itself!

Talk all you want about the IP Google retained from the Motorola deal. It was the biggest cash barbecue I’ve ever seen! Unless Google has any new idea (which I doubt), the HTC deal will follow on the same footsteps. The only thing Google learned is to be more parsimonious with the money it makes! (Although, it wouldn’t be a bad thing to have another player keeping Apple on its toes!)

All in all, I wouldn’t want to be in Samsung shoes. They have a serious threat ahead, and a spotty track record of late.

I know quite a few successful businessmen who have their secretaries print all relevant e-mails directed at them. One of them said to me that he disliked reading things on a screen (I refrained to ask what did he use his screen for...)!

Like Steve Jobs once said about people who couldn't type, "death will eventually take care of this problem".

... but prosecutors must first determine whether the complaint is legitimate before letting tit proceed in court.

Well, English isn't my first language, and legal vernacular really isn't in my professional toolbox... but I do suspect there is a typo there, somewhere.

Neil, I’m worrying about you... at this pace, you’re bound to get a gastric ulcer! Also, people at Apple seem to have started on the eggnog a little bit too early this year.
