  • How the Apple Ring will blow all the other smart ring manufacturers out of the water

The only thing that would make me consider buying a ring is whether it allows my devices to track me in my own house and automatically turn lights on and off as I move through the house. Right now I'm doing that with motion sensors, but it's messy, complex and inaccurate. If Apple can improve on this with a ring, preferably including people who visit my house with their own ring, then I would consider buying it.

  • Microsoft Copilot is fairly relaxed about trademark use

Easy fix: Each image with an image protected by trademark or copyright could require the user to press "I'm not using this publicly" just as iOS has a button in iOS that says "I'm not driving," in order to legally protect Apple. Using a trademarked or copyrighted image for personal use is probably legal. Besides, using trademarks/copyrights for satirical purposes is legal, but "as long as it does not mislead the public."

  • Apple keeps pushing AI industry forward with more open-source models

Is Apple's model designed to be small enough to run natively on an iPhone? Are all the other models you mentioned small enough to run on an iPhone? (It's a sincere question; I don't know the answer. It sounds like you are comparing Apples to Oranges.)
Max_Troll isn't a good source of accurate information, so let me answer that one for you:
Thanks. To a degree I was disagreeing with Max_truth, but sometimes when I write posts I try to write them so politely that the person reading it doesn't even realize I'm disagreeing. I'm trying to make them defend the weaknesses in their arguments without them even knowing that's what I'm asking them to do. I noticed that he didn't answer.

Meanwhile, Apple's LLM can't even say who Obama is.

I wonder if anybody else questions the name of “Crowdstrike”.  A very odd name and it does not sound like a positive thing.
It anagrams into "Worst Dickers." Is that more positive?
