Sure, you can. You can remove iOS and install Linux.

No. You can't force Apple to install insecure features, and you can't force Google to provide secure features.

People seem to use the iPhone as a camera more than they use it as a phone. Maybe it should be rebranded the iCamera. "It Comes with a Phone!"

There is some anti-Apple sentiment in certain areas of Britain, and always has been.  It's good to hear the BBC is 'thinking different'. (I speak as one who owned Apple dealerships back in the day and had to fight that attitude a lot!  BBC micros anyone?  LOL).

There are haters everywhere, I guess. Apple is probably the most beloved AND most hated company in the world, in terms of number of people who love and hate it.

If Apple is forced (by people like you) to not produce and sell products that people like me want, then our freedom is lost. You are against Apple's freedom, and mine, to build and buy what we want. You get exactly what you want (Android) but you don't want us to get what we want. No freedom there. If Apple is forced to copy Android much more, I will abandon Apple.
