Apple's iOS 18 AI will be on-device preserving privacy, and not server-side
Apple's upcoming AI might not require a remote server to process its AI logic, but it will require an Internet connection to find many kinds of answers. Contrary to what many people seem to think, LLMs do not contain an entire copy of the Internet within them.

Japan to seek up to 20% fine for monopolistic practices by Apple
Apple could either- leave the Japanese smartphone market entirely,
- remove its own app store (and everyone's app store) from the Japanese smartphone market, or
- allow (or require) Android as the OS for iPhone users in the Japanese market. No more iOS on iPhones in Japan.

Apple TV with a camera is the rumor that will never die
I access "Apple TV+" on my iMac which already has a camera on the front. And I do FaceTime video conferencing with it. And FaceTime does have a dozen "gestures" that can do some small things in the video stream. -

So this probably means no MagSafe charging for iPads, as that would be a significant redesign which would probably be highly touted at an event.
