For most companies and most stories AppleInsider, fairly, covers both sides of a story. But in this case AppleInsider is ignoring recent history. I wonder why AppleInsider doesn't cover both sides of the story regarding this company. The security issue isn't even listed as a bullet point in the "Cons" section of this article. What is AI's motivation for ignoring relevant and important facts?

How exactly do you define a "scalper"? If I buy something then suddenly realize I don't need it, should the government stop me from reselling it at any price I want? Do you want everyone who sells everything to get approval first from a government agency? And do you want price controls that prevent the value of anything we own from going up? Does that apply to the value of your house, if someone offered you ten times the price that you just paid for it?

Should car dealers be prohibited from selling their cars at a higher price than MSRP? Sounds like scalping to me.

Should airlines not be able to increase the prices of their remaining available seats as the number of free seats drops? Sounds like scalping to me.

I'm not sure who should determine the value of something other than the seller and the buyer.

I doubt Microsoft will drop native support. In general, buy Pro M-series or higher for decent gaming performance.

My Plan B, if you are wrong about Microsoft's future, is to run "WoW for ARM 11" running in Parallels on macOS. I'm still curious if it will run as well as "WoW for Apple Silicon." The sources you were citing were either for "WoW on Apple Silicon," or for "WoW on Windows ARM 10 on non-Apple Silicon," whereas I am looking forward to seeing a measurement of "WoW for ARM 11 in Parallels on macOS".

I've always been worried that Microsoft will terminate sales of World of Warcraft for MacOS. But this would be a reasonable way to keep it running on Macs. I see that WoW has been available for years already on Windows for ARM. (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EY3mTD-VuU which has only 551 views after 1 year.) Could someone please test the frame rate of WoW running on Windows 11 for ARM on an M3 iMac using Parallels at full screen resolution?
