  • SEC denies Apple's bid to stop shareholders questioning its use of AI

Errors like that tell us that AI's articles are not written by AI.

  • AI-improved Siri to launch at WWDC 2024, claims leaker

Just one week ago, the New York Times launched a lawsuit against Microsoft over its AI's training which "reads" New York Times copyrighted materials in order to "train" its AI. If Apple uses copyrighted materials in its training, then Apple would also become the target of lawsuits.

If the lawsuit is successful, which I doubt, (since web crawling has always been legal or unchallenged) then to get quality AI we'll all have to switch to using AI developed by communist China. Of course, Chinese AI will know nothing about any information that is anti-China.

  • One of Dell's new Thunderbolt monitors is aimed right at Apple's Studio Display

According to one review website, Dell hasn't said whether this device supports charging capabilities, nor whether the device supports KVM/USB upstream/downstream capabilities. These features are important to me.

  • Apple is pushing hard to make the Mac relevant in gaming

Pushing hard? The new ARM based Mac Pros don't even support GPUs. Even Steam gave up on macOS and CS:GO is no longer supported. People who have time to play games the whole day are kids. Their parents ain't buying them a $2K Mac to game. If Apple seriously wants to get into gaming, either they need to target the kid segment or the tech enthusiast. The current Macs target a working professional and so that is where they sell
Gaming is a brain killer for both kids and adults, Apple in my opinion should have nothing to do with it!
What they should do is work on Mac to be the best not only for film and music editors, but also 3G & Coding and the best General computer!
Yes, gaming and all other forms of entertainment are brain killers and neither Apple nor anyone else should have anything to do with it. That includes movies, TV, music, spectating at any sport, comedy clubs, magic shows, amusement parks, circuses, karaoke, carnivals, theatres, festivals, museums, water parks, awards ceremonies, concerts, drag shows, fireworks, operas, parades, parties, raves, symphonies, and most importantly, mimes. By banning entertainment, as is done in North Korea, and moving our efforts into farming, manufacturing, health care, etc., our GDP would skyrocket and we would become much more productive and useful to society.

  • Apple gets backlash from India after uncovering hacks on journalists

Soon to be: India will pass a law making it a crime to report on such hacks.  Apple will, of course, comply with all local laws and regulations.
Exactly. Apple is doing the right thing here because they can. As bad as the Indian government is (and it’s very bad), India is still more free and democratic than China.

Apple really needs to figure out how to manufacture products in more democratic countries.
I agree, but dictatorships provide cheaper labour, which is what Apple (i.e., its stockholders) really wants. And, as you imply, India is categorized as a "Flawed Democracy" anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist_Democracy_Index I'm trying to come up with countries that are both large and very free/democratic. It's a short list. I would suggest that Apple consider doing its manufacturing in Japan or Germany.
