Roughly half of women are comfortable wearing necklaces, compared with only 10% of men. And 10% of the population belong to religions that object to necklaces and jewelry.

By comparison, roughly 75% of the population wears a baseball cap occasionally. That would be a much better place to put a piece of tech. It is more securely mounted there, and much more stable in terms of motion. Most likely Jony Ive has considered this, and I suspect that's where it's actually going, despite Kuo's prognostication.

I have fAIth in AI, but this venture is a penny stock at this time.

Apple should stop selling smart phones (ie, phones which run other people's software) and just sell feature phones. Apple's software is good, and it's enough for me.

The US government should not take allies for granted and work with allies on AI. Part of China’s government’s AI success would be alienating America from its allies for AI research and development. 

But should Apple be developing tools to help the Communist Party of China harm its own citizens? "Following Chinese law" is not good enough.

It looks like I will have to buy this game instead of CIV VII, since CIV VII isn't on the Mac App Store, and therefore doesn't have a detailed privacy statement validated by Apple. As long as this game doesn't take too much data off my data from my Mac, I think I'll buy it.
