  • Cook, other Apple execs open up on company's future in extensive '60 Minutes' feature

I'd like to know the difference between an industrial age tax code and a digital age tax code. To me, it just sounds like Tim and Company don't like paying taxes. But, maybe others can explain his thoughts.
They pay Chinese taxes on every Phone sold in China, they pay Bralian taxes on every sale in Brazil, on top of whatever local business taxes for any internationally localized store or business they operate.  The US then wants them to pay another 40% on top of that to repatriate the money.  It would be beyond stupid to even consider, it's a terrible policy, because the US has no way to force companies to move their international divisions' profits back to the US, and there's little chance companies will choose to squander half their profits just to move the money back.  It's just useless political wind bagging.

The US government should slash the rate, even if they make conditions for that money being used for domestic jobs, it would be a forward thinking tax policy, rather than the archaic jumble we have now.  Dig?

  • Concerned about net neutrality, FCC probes Comcast, T-Mobile, & AT&T over data cap exemptions

Telecom is a HEAVILY regulated industry.  Government owns any deficiencies in the system as much as the companies themselves.  The Telcos love the regulation because it creates a massive barrier to entry for any competition, and as long as they stay on the good side of political wonks from the Dems and Reps, they have a guaranteed plan for success.  It has zero to do with looking out for customers on either side.

  • Review: Apple Smart Battery Case for iPhone 6 & 6s

Wow, massive review fail for Appleinsider.  Missing some pretty important key details to bemoan the lack of blinking lights.

This case is a boon for iPhone photographers and film makers, having the extra juice while on the go, but still being able to comfortably hold while in landscape mode.  Having to stop and charge phones for shooting in locations/situations where time is limited is a big deal.   The current phones more than excel for casual uses, but if you missed Apple's recent marketing featuring photography, there are a lot of people who use their devices in much more demanding situations and need a little extra juice, in a compact design, when it counts.

Not surprising low end users, style divas and brat fashionistas can't see that technology is for more than their limited grasp and interests.
It goes to show that most whiners here are low end users, clueless about anything beyond their silly little games and website browsing.

Appleinsider should can this clown, and find some better reviewers.  Embarrassing for this site, embarrassing for the whiners.
