FYI, Clean Up in Photos is still available after I changed the iPad's Region an Language to France/French, this disabling Apple Intelligence.

It seems only the features which rely upon analysis of the user data, and therefore would present an unacceptable security risk if Apple had to make such analysis available to 3rd parties, are unavailable in the EU.

If that is correct, that is a small, but good, news.

I fully agree: Matter (and therefore HomeKit) compatibility is such a mess.
I'm glad I chose to purchase the latest Apple TV with Ethernet (the one with only WiFi does not support Threads) - that makes things a bit easier.

Can't wait for the iOS 18.1 review on Appleinsider. It's been so long this the iOS 18 review. /S

I live in Paris and there are many obvious mistakes.
The process of reporting them to Apple is depressing, there is one I had to report 10 times, with screenshots, instructions on how to reproduce the erroe, Waze and Google results, before it got corrected.
And for the same (6 streets) crossing, the same error is still exists if you arrive from a different street, andd Apple Maps still makes you do a stupid maneuver.
So I've stopped reporting those issues.
I hoped it would get better before the Olympics but it didn't.

Here is an example of stupid route. I had the one when arriving from "Avenue de Breteuil" (on the right of the screen, and the most expensive street in the French Monopoly) corrected after many attempts.
