Is there any possibility that iPhone X Plus screen would be full 4K?

    That will be huge.
Out of curiosity, what's the use case of a 6-inch 4K screen?
Watching iTunes 4K movies that I have plenty.
Anything beyond the current iPhone's resolution is simply a waste of resources, both in making the display, graphics performance, and power usage. Your eyes will not be able to discern the smaller pixel size without using some sort of magnification. The only reasonable use case I can imagine is indeed using magnification by putting the phone into a VR headset. But since the phone's flat screen is not handled well by the dual lens setup on the headsets at such a short viewing distance it'll still look like crud, even if it were a 16K screen.

    1) What kind of asshole do you have to be to steal from kids at an elementary and middle school?

    2) What kind of prick steals a pet?
    1) Thieves don't care. It's the same mentality that will cause $20000 worth of damage to wiring/HVAC units so they can steal $2 worth of copper.
    2) Same as #1 -- they don't care. French bulldogs are quite expensive in the US and as long as they get a few hundred dollars quickly from the heist they are happy.

  • Intel delays 10nm Cannon Lake processor production to late 2019

Intel is running up against the fact that wavelengths of light can get only so short (10 nm is pretty stinking short) and physics is going to win at attempts to get much smaller. A transistor can't get smaller than an atom. Progress on ICs is getting slower and will need some sort of breakthrough (like power reduction, using neural-type processing, memristors, light instead of electricity, etc.) before we can see performance improvement rates that we've experienced over the last 40 years.

  • Digital assistant test shows Apple's Siri is improving, lags behind Google Assistant

I can't imagine any voice recognition doing well in some real world situations such as high background noise (especially if you can't use noise cancellation such as not having the phone against your head), speakers with strong non-native accents (such as a German accent speaking English), or using slang/poor grammar.

Then there's the oddball type of speaker:

  • Comparing the Dell XPS 13 9370 versus Apple's 2018 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

I'll agree with the AI writer: Mac trackpads are the best and everything else pales in comparison. The Mac trackpad, even the one on my 2009 MBP, is my favorite pointing/clicking device of all time. I can't stand the puny one on my Dell work laptop. I've noticed almost nobody uses a mouse while mobile on a Mac yet 80% of the time I see people crack out a mouse with a non-Apple laptop.

If I were a frequent user of FaceTime-like applications for video calls then I certainly wouldn't like the "up the nose" perspective of the low mounted camera. Hopefully Apple doesn't follow this trend.
