one of many great Wright quotes. The point being, be careful how you spend your time when you could be doing other things. That said, having streaming services is a good thing. But it’s only worth so much time and money.

That's not how it works. Apple won't require a language to work. Even if you use SwiftUI, a Swift-only technology, Objective-C and the Objective-C runtime are all over any application that is shipped, by 3rd parties and by Apple itself.

It’s far more likely that instead of “planned features”, it’s just cheaper to use an existing designed/built part.
