What do you mean by "immigrant" v citizen and green card holder. I know many now citizens who are immigrants into the US, and many more that are still "Green Card" holders.

Apple’s explanation for why this happened may or may not be the full truth, but the company is and has been very keen to diversify its workforce, based on the philosophy that different life experiences bring new ideas to the table, and prevent “groupthink” setting in — like what happens if you only have similar candidates for all the positions in a given area.

Wow, you should work for Apple.

Governments do not create value and take from the productive through taxes. Parasites.
You're using the internet, drinking clean (for now) water , breathing clean (for now) air, possibly using roadways with the expectation that way finding information is in place and standardized, and that other vehicles on the roadway are similarly equipped with safety and signaling devices and are in reasonable working condition.

  • Ex-Apple employee files RICO lawsuit over whistleblower retaliation

She's throwing in the entire kitchen sink. A common tactic with the hope that many of the claims makes it through. Given Apple's illegal tactics in the past (and ongoing bad acts in multiple jurisdictions), I'm sure at least some of the charges she's made will be allowed to go to trial.

Except you don't know the history of what's been required of her to get answers.

  • Why Apple uses integrated memory in Apple Silicon -- and why it's both good and bad

So every single PC or computer manufacturer can use modular RAM. Including servers, workstations, data centers, super computers.

But somehow the Apple chips cannot and are trying to convince us that it is not just plain & simple greed??
    Yes.

  • What keeps the Mac relevant for Apple, despite iPhone dominance

I call BS. I'm a developer.  There are far less than 10M Apple developer accounts total, while there are between 1 and 2 BILLION iPhones in use.  It's not Xcode that keeps the Mac relevant. It's that computers are still relevant, and that laptops are the most popular/useful form factor, and that Apple's are the most versatile and well made.
