  • Rumors point to Nintendo shipping iOS 'The Legend of Zelda' title later this year

My entry to the world of Zelda was Twilight Princess.  A beautiful & fun game.  Welcome to iOS (hopefully)!  Could be a big money-maker for Nintendo.

  • Warren Buffett deflects concerns about iPhone price, sales & AAPL share ownership

Carl Icahn must be kicking himself, selling AAPL when it was somewhere in the $90 - $100 range. (IIRC)

  • Apple pushes 'Carpool Karaoke' launch back to 'later this year'

Apple's decision to announce production of three shows (Carpool Karaoke, Planet of the Apps, Vital Signs) before they're available is a break from the company's tradition of not commenting on unannounced products.

In my opinion, it's a mistake... and an example of why Apple's normal approach (NOT commenting on unannounced products) is best.  If a concept doesn't live up to the producers' original hopes, let it die a graceful death behind closed doors.
So its a mistake..........even before you've watched a single episode. Seriously. How clownish can we get.

I didn't say that Apple creating content was a mistake.  I said that Apple ANNOUNCING their specific plans was a mistake -- out of character with their normal plan of not commenting on unannounced products.

And stop with the personal attacks ("clownish"); it's unbecoming.

  • Apple hires NASA AR/VR expert Jeff Norris to work on future products

I was (pleasantly) surprised when Tim made several comments over the past year+ about Apple's commitment to research in AR.

Perhaps one reason he commented on an unannounced technology was to accelerate hiring -- i.e., let prospective new-hires know that Apple is investing serious money and energy into the passion of these subject matter experts.
