I assumed iOS 17 tentpole features would be support for the AR/VR headset. But… so few people may buy this first product (if the price is $3K) that focusing the iOS upgrade primarily on that product may be a mistake.

While I respect differing opinions, I do choose to donate to Wikipedia each year. It’s a service that I use daily — for work and personal life — and want it to continue.

This article uses the term “opt in” for Google’s inclusion of users without their consent. That’s misuse of the term; opt-in means the end user has the OPTION of whether to participate.

The release of new products in the eyewear category (goggles, glasses) reminds me of what happened before Apple released iPad and Apple Watch.

Does anyone here have experience using Apple Pay at NY, DC, or LA? I’m curious about the speed. When this concept first emerged, there was some concern of it causing human backups in busy turnstiles if Apple Pay was slower than traditional transit …

Most CarPlay vehicles require a cabled connection to your phone. How will that work when the phone no longer has an external port? (I hope there’s a solution I’m just forgetting.)

Why does this article begin, “It doesn't seem like it should work”? Airpods have always been pairable to any Bluetooth phone.

Funny if the deal were: "$1. But Qualcomm gets to make a public statement about Apple making a payment."

So Apple's strategy is: Higher Prices + Fewer Stores ============= Higher Sales Doesn't seem likely.

Autonomous Vehicles are an area where Apple should break from its tradition and favor transparency over secrecy. The public has natural hesitance about the safety of these new vehicles, and this hesitance is one of the largest obstacles to the new …

Wish list for case upgrade: 1. Speaker to chirp during “Find my Airpods” when lid is closed. 2. Option to have Apple print text (e.g., your name) on case exterior to distinguish one person’s case from other people’s cases. (Now I use a printed lab…

Stop printing "poaches." Use "hires" or "recruits." There is nothing nefarious about hiring a person with the skills you need.

As an earlier thread said... please call it "hiring" or "recruiting", not "poaching." There is nothing unsavory about hiring people with the skills you need.
