Mapping data is an asset that Apple (and other companies) invested in creating. They own that asset and should not be forced by Robin Hood governments to give it away for free.

Some Exxon gas pumps now have native support for NFC, including Apple Pay. It works perfectly, so much easier than their app (which I still lauded for accepting Apple Pay, but it required more steps by the user). -
