Bull. You can pay on your mobile phone multiple ways: type in a credit card number, use PayPal, etc. Apple's solution is just faster, easier, and more secure. That's innovation, and Apple deserves to profit from that innovation.

Why not just 3 models, all "Pro" (work with Pencil)?
  -   7.9"  iPad Mini
  - 10.5"  iPad Standard
  - 12.9"  iPad Plus (matching iPhone branding)

Will it allow ONLY wireless charging, or via Lightning too? Many of us have Lightning-based external batteries; it'd be a shame to obsolete all of them by not allowing a Lightning charge in the future.

I'm beginning to think that's true.  Maybe he never intended to DO these things... he just SAID them to gain votes.  Once in office, he may act very differently.  Admittedly that would infuriate the millions who voted for him, but he'll have 4 years to run he country and may consider the alienation of his voters just "collateral damage" -- a means to an end.

(I voted strongly against him, so I'm not defending him... just trying to understand his behavior.)
