How to choose between stainless steel vs aluminum Apple Watches

I have a gold SS Series 4 and an Aluminum Series 4 and have been going back and forth for days to decide which one I’ll keep. I use the Watch to run and work out so I love the lighter weight of the Aluminum but damn is the gold nice. And aluminum version seems significantly thinner than the Stainless Steel which is nice.
