iPhone automatically summons rescuers after terrible Canada crash
The newer iPhones (starting with iPhone 14) have crash detection and can automatically contact emergency services. There is also the scenario where perhaps the iPhone will automatically switch to satellite when no cell service is available. Not really clear on the article. The example at the end of the article about using an iPhone 14 would be a very different scenario. -

The sheer convenience of not having dangling, tangled cords is a massive plus.
now that iOS can report a headphone's battery life in the Today pulldown, im not left wondering when to charge. only bummer is trying to use one pair on multiple devices. i hope apple can improve this pairing process. -
Safari 10 will prefer HTML5, require manual activations of plugins like Flash & Java
