  • Apple canvassing iMac Pro users on why they bought and what they like

Learning that this Survey went out yesterday is F#%$ing depressing. That's a pretty good sign that they're not anywhere near announcing the damned thing. I've been waiting forever to get this new friggin' mac pro, and it's starting to feel like they're jerking my chain. It's as if they're pushing it further and further away, to get more people to invest in their other Mac's, simply buying time to where a new Mac Pro won't be so important. I know you said 2019, but I at least held out hope that you'd announce it by year end. Leaving the availability of it shipping in 2019. Now it just feels like it's forever away. WTF, you'll announce in 2019 when..?? and then actual shipments will be another 6 months later ??? UGHHHHH !!! YOU ARE APPLE .... IT DOESN'T TAKE OVER 2 YEARS TO FINALIZE A DESIGN, YOU HAVE THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD......

  • How to get started with Apple Music, and squeeze much more out of your subscription

I am a lifetime Apple evangelist, cultish user, and great admirer of their inspirational technology. I am sorry to admit that I have zero love for Apple Music. I loathe its design, and especially hate the fact that it’s intertwined with my iTunes. It’s convoluted and confusing as all hell.

Apple Music should be a completely separate App like Spotify, YouTube Music, & Amazon Music. Just because it’s an Apple product doesn’t change my opinion.

More so, they should do a massive overhaul of the graphics and the user experience. I would love nothing more than to side with Apple over any competitor, but Spotify & Amazon totally got it right. They’ve created an excellent user interface with beautiful graphics. They’re excitng and very engaging Apps. I would love for Apple Music to add the play counts that show how many plays each song has registered. It would be awesome to follow how well a particular artists songs are streaming in Apple Music.

I’ve made my entire career working in the music business along side all the major celebrity Artsits & Actors. I pay for subscriptions to both Apple Music & Spotify.

I want Apple Music be a completely separate App from iTunes, and no longer a 2 in 1 headache that leads to all kinds of confusion. Apple Music completely screwed up my iTunes with what I already had bc Apple Music is mixed into it.... and the stupid Artist vs Album Artist nonsense that make certain songs disappear from your Artist list....

UGH !!!! Don’t even get me started.

The ugly all white shit graphics of Apple Music alone makes it like nothing I want to be a part of. Apple has always be the leader. Their design teams make some of the most beautiful and elegant software, so why the hell can’t Apple Music be its own App, a gorgeous piece of software that’s ultra modern. and colorful. I will drop Spotify the second I feel Apple Music becomes what it should be.

  • Tim Cook says Apple is 'investing aggressively' in the future of the Mac

What I'm worried is I need a new macbook but I don't want to buy one with a ridiculous and doomed to lose support touchbar.
I thought the same thing, but bought a new 15" MBP anyway bc I know that Apple always surprises me. I honestly viewed the Touchbar as a kind of corny gimmick. Then I got the Mac and started using it. Then I saw how I can customize my Touchbar for each Application, and that's when I started to see it's value. Now I understand. It's pretty awesome now that I assign quick keys stuff to the bar and video scrubbing audio scrubbing etc etc. and I'm no longer laughing... !!! Apple is quite amazing
