Apple apologizes for iPhone slowdown controversy, will reduce out-of-warranty battery repl...
This is BS. Apple should never have apologized about this! They should have explained the feature of the OS and idiot people, think, everytime a new OS update comes out there are hundreds or more new instructions and lines of code that have to be handled by the processor! One of the resons for new phones are bigger faster processors to handle the new features and new protection instructions integrated in the new OS releases! One of the reasons an older product slows down is that it takes LONGER for the old processor to run through all those extra instructions!!! I just had the battery replaced on my 6, it made a BIG improvement on how the device runs,,, always a bunch of ignorant wining fools running around trying to get something for nothing or trying to sue a company trying to get rich.... -
Google Assistant arrives on the iPad, but still isn't going to replace Siri soon
While I like my Apple products, Siri is THE WORST thing about them! 90% of the time I call her a dumb b***** because never a correct answer not even close unless it is a SIMPLE thing like a reminder or a measurement conversion, I can ask the same questions that Siri can't get to the google app and EVERYTIME I get a correct answer!! Plenty of fan kiddos on here badmouthing the google assistant but I've always found it much better than Siri, and that goes for the map application too. -
Trump calls tech CEOs to June meetings, orders overhaul of US government IT
LoneStar88 said:More of the obligatory negative references to our President. Nothing but surmise, and totally uncalled for. And nothing like continually dredging up old news to try to prop up the propaganda mill. Good job, AI.
This is a new initiative, and obviously NOTHING has been determined yet as to what will be implemented or what any company's specific involvement will be.
But cheap politics certainly don't have to be a factor in any contracts written.
I'd say both Trump and Cook are pragmatists, so this is Cook's chance to sell his products/services/computing philosophies, etc. to the federal government, whose money is just as good as anyone's. And what about IBM's likely involvement as an important Apple enterprise partner. This could be a choice opportunity for Apple.
Major contracts would also mean jobs creation—right here in River City (USA)!
You liberals need to get off the pity pot and get with the program, if not fully on the Trump Train, because America WILL be great again with our without your help. -
Google may build native ad-blocking into mobile & desktop versions of Chrome
Ads ads ads,,, sooo sick of all of them! We are just flooded with them, and 95% and I'm being nice here are nothing but pure worthless trash!!! It was so bad, I finally did start using an add blocker which works pretty good to. Just like tv, you can't watch the thing for all the adds, and we pay to watch it!!! For those that are too young, or just don't know, that was the intent for pay TV in the beginning to get rid of commercials! Now we pay an anormous fee to watch 80% commercials!!!! -
NYU student talks assembling Apple's iPhone 6s & 7 for Pegatron
Ha!!! I have to laugh at a lot of the comments on this article!! It clearly shows those people have NO IDEA what it's like to work in a factory on an assembly line anywhere including the US!! Jobs pay money, no job no money, no food, no housing no nothing!! We are trying to get plants back to the US, good paying jobs, no you probably won't buy a Bugatti with one but generally they pay pretty good.... Wise up kiddies, no work no money, no toys!
