Trump's 25% smartphone tariff starts just in time for the iPhone 17
It's time of Tim to stop messing around, take the gloves off and start using Corporate Funds to hit back.
He only gets the message when people stop appeasing him.
Show some leadership, get other business leaders on board.
Inside every box and in every ad, inside every store the message should be
"President Trump is changing you, the American consumer 25% tax. This tax is paid by you, not Apple, not India, not China, not by any other country. President Trump is taxing you." -
Australian shoemaker business has been transformed by iPhone, says Apple
RM Williams boots are fantastic...I've had a pair for about 10 years and still great condition and hard wearing
No pretentions or crazy brand names just high quality shoes and boots made in Oz....
Me: "I saw a pair of men's ankle boots in the window, brown, with a wrap around buckle strap at the top, can't see them on display"
Salesperson "Ah, you mean the ankle brown buckle boots..."
We call things as we see them down under !

China escalates US tariff war by halting rare earth mineral exports
Mike Wuerthele said:DAalseth said:China is NOT the only place on earth that has rare earth elements. Large deposits are in Canada, the US, Australia, and elsewhere. It’s just that China was the cheapest place to get them so the other sources have not been developed. It will take time to get the operations going, but the process was started during the first Trump term.
Which basically means China is the only game in town until mid century other than re-cycling and I'm not sure where that would take place and how much effort it would be to re-extract the metals from old gear. -
