  • NSO Group CEO says law-abiding citizens have 'nothing to be afraid of'

Everyone here is opposing the company. That's an easy position to argue. I'm going to take up the challenge and try to defend the company. And so, I have two questions:

    1. Does their software violate any US law?
I can point to a lot of things that don’t violate US law that are just wrong.
I love imposing my morality on other people, and I'm glad you feel the same way.

I am a “law abiding citizen!”  Of course I have nothing to hide since nothing can remain hidden!  The Thought Police protect me from all you scum that think it’s okay to have privacy!!

I do have a question, though.  What does it mean to be a “law abiding citizen” in North Korea where the law is based on the daily whims of a dictator?

  • REvil demands $70M to end Kaseya ransomware attack

I stand corrected.  It shouldn’t be Hellfire missiles.  It should be Tomahawks.

In all actuality, these groups are declaring war on Western governments whether they intend to or not.  These governments are not going to simply let hackers disable their infrastructure and blacken their eyes.  There will be some silent ops Clancy-style violence going down, and these groups will fade to black.

A few properly place Hellfire missiles from an affected country would bring this type of activity to a stop pretty fast.

I predict that keeping the battery within ≈1% of the Intel MBP should increase the battery life significantly, even if using an M1X or M2.
Since the M1 doesn’t also serve as an auxiliary furnace for your house, cutting the size in half would still increase the battery life significatnly
    Lol.  That was pretty good!

  • Apple teases update to Apple Music, saying that 'music is about to change forever'

I think Apple will have to offer more than lossless music to stand up to that “Music is about the change forever” claim.  After all, other services have been offering that feature for years.  Maybe this is when they push out virtual surround sound.
