Early previewers praise new HomePod's 'just wow' audio
I have the original HomePod, the HomePod Minis and the Sonos Move. If the new HomePod comes close to the sound quality of my Sonos, then the upgrade was significant.

It worked fine. It asked for my recovery key which I inputted and had me update all of my Apple devices to 16.2., and then it turned on.
