Apple to ask all employees to voluntarily report Covid vaccination status
I can’t tell you how many stores I’ve seen that have a sign on the door that says “wear a mask if not vaccinated”. That’s about as effective as giving students a take-home exam and have them promise not to cheat. I’m not a believer in the honor system, because too many people lie and wind up putting others at unnecessary risk. Either show proof of your vaccination status or wear a mask or shop elsewhere.

No matter how laudable Apple‘s motives may be, this is a slippery slope that should definitely be reconsidered. Privacy, which Apple consistently prides itself in and boasts about, shouldn’t have any back door exceptions.
