If US lawmakers are good at anything, it's failing at technology
Not 100% true about digital yuan.
Many mainland Chinese are using a message app called WeChat. You can do a lot more thing than WhatsApp or iMessage. People can put money in their WeChat account and e-transfer money to other or use it to pay for services and buy things online.
So preemptive to stop using digital yuan in US is actually a good thing. -

Next Mac mini will have M2 and M2 Pro Apple Silicon chip options
My guess is the new Mac Pro will skip M1 Ultra or M1 Ultra Deluxe altogether and use M2 Max or Ultra in the 22Q3. If Mac Mini use M2 before Apple release Mac Pro with M1 Ultra Deluxe, it will be hard to market and justify the extra cost, even M2 basic is only 30% faster than M1 basic.Mini being the cheapest Mac, I don’t think Apple will be rush to update it. The reason why Apple released M1 Mini before other Mac is they want people adopt M1 with the cheapest Mac and do the M transition asap. Now, apple will treat Mini like it treats IPhone SE, there is not point to put the new shiny M2 in mini in a hurry. -
Leaked M1 Ultra Mac Studio benchmarks prove it outclasses top Mac Pro

Not to mention, arguably AMD’s Epyc is the fastest CPU in the PC world.Let’s hope the future Mac Pro will be even faster with 4/8 sets of CPU. But it might cost $8000 on the entry model. While AMD's offerings is also impressive, when compared in terms of performance-per-watt, ASi outperforms them both.

If not, this sentiment is irrelevant. There is also something faster in development.https://technical.city/en/cpu/Xeon-W-3275M-vs-Xeon-Platinum-8380
