  • Leaked M1 Ultra Mac Studio benchmarks prove it outclasses top Mac Pro

    Well, it looks good on number in the presentation. But let’s not forget the Ultra is comparing with a 2 year old Xeon. 2 years is a lot in computer technology. Not to mention, arguably AMD’s Epyc is the fastest CPU in the PC world. 

    Let’s hope the future Mac Pro will be even faster with 4/8 sets of CPU. But it might cost $8000 on the entry model.

    If someone is entitled to talk about Jobs’ early days, it is Woz. Maybe you should read some books about apple’s history before you comment about Woz.

    Sometimes, it makes you wonder which side these people are in.

    Of course, not all secret agencies are good. But what point she can proof other than it is a secret agency. Did they do evil stuff? Or they are hunting down Isis cell in Germany? She do t even know. What if some bad guy send a pipe bomb to the address like she did and kill a few.

    What can she accomplished by doing this?

    Both parties are not brave enough to do that. Only 3 US car makers and 3 Wireless providers, but more than 10 search engine. Do you think the US government will dare to break up these companies?

    I don’t understand why a good tech company is being blamed by other’s failure. If google can unseated yahoo, why not other can beat google. 

    Without eBay buying PayPal, we will not have Tesla and SpaceX. The owner of small tech companies have total control to sell their companies or not. 

    I am sure there are mergers that is bad for competition, eg Facebook’s Instagram/WhatsApp. But doing internet business is hard and need a lot of capital. Will Instagram succeed without FB’s deep pockets? That is not a easy question.
