Apple removed streaming Photos from Mac to AppleTV. The "photos" app on the AppleTV is now iCloud-only. I don't use Apple's crappy iCloud Photo Library because it takes forever to upload photos and kills the cable modem connection. Nobody should have to use cloud services to send stuff within their own home anyway.

Once again, Apple downgrades their devices after we've bought them. They did this to the AppleTV when they took away Photos library browsing. WTF is wrong with these people? The list of new Apple hardware I'm interested in buying gets shorter every year.

Gawd almighty that Ugly Red Dot looks more hideous each time I see it. $700 and up for a stainless steel Watch with fancy band, and Apple puts that URD on the crown. Everyone involved in bringing that idea into production should be fired.

Consumer Reports does not run advertisements. They rely entirely on subscriptions for funding. You may be thinking of Consumers Digest.

It certainly has been that way for a while, as I have consistently had this experience. I was wondering why I kept having to enter my passcode if I hadn't used Touch ID in several hours. I was under the impression the rule was 24 hours, and never got an explanation for why it was much shorter than that. I wasn't the only one complaining about this "bug" either. Now we know.
