Channel checks, sales data on HomePod likely as wrong as it was about Apple Watch in 2015
It would be nice if there was a chart containing the companies that routinely issue these predictions and their accuracy rate to could be up-to-date and posted with every silly rumor. It could be limited to only the recurring predictors (to keep it manageable) and it could have simple score columns: accurate or inaccurate (to keep it simple). More than 75% inaccurate, the market manipulator box is checked by companies name. In any case, I don't know any better than anyone else if HomePod is a hit or miss with the population in general. I do know that we have one and it is terrific! Music sounds fantastic, very easy to make it the output for our iPhones, iPads or AppleTV, the later of which we don't currently use as the lack of stereo sound is weird when watching TV. AirPlay2 and another HomePod purchase will fix this and then we can likely toss our Sonos system. -
Apple now runs on 100 percent renewable energy

Seriously could we not have stopped at “good on them for doing this” without having to toss in the republican political sentiment. It a tech blog after all, not Fox News. -
Apple now runs on 100 percent renewable energy

Well, neither will humans or Apple or our sun no matter how much "renewable energy" we use.
How much CO2 was produced and will continue to be produced to manufacture and maintain those solar panels, batteries, fuel cells, wind-powered generators? Mmmhmm. Exactly.
It's a nice PR move.
The amount of limited resources consumed to allow for the collection of, a more or less, infinite source of power, while not neglible, is clearly the most prudent use for said resources as it produces more than it consumes.
Is it a fair assumption you hail from generations of coal miners who refused to move on/relocate when the modern world rendered them obsolete.
As for Apple this is fantastic news. It is quite impressive given their size and geographic footprint. I’m curious how many other companies have achieved this. -
2018 iPhone may sport three-lens camera system to boost image quality

But I just like the home button so much. I feel like buying a 256GB iPhone 8 rather than a 10.
Any opinions ?

Mark Zuckerberg calls Tim Cook's anti-Facebook retort 'glib,' defends ad-based model
rogifan_new said:If Cook is really concerned about Facebook and Google he could remove all their apps from the App Store. He could replace Google as the default search engine in iOS. And he could tell his teams to make Apple software and services so good no one who owns an Apple device would want to use Gmail, Google Docs or Google Maps.
i just upgraded my wireless router in my house. I bought a Google mesh system. I would rather have bought something from Apple but they don’t make it so Google it was. And so far it’s been working incredibly well.
