macOS Catalina 10.15.1 is now available with opt-in Siri review, support for AirPods Pro
I would recommend waiting. I have two desktops here, both are having problems. I'm writing this on my laptop since I cannot connect to the internet on either either of the two desktops. I first updated my iMac Pro, did a quick check everything seemed ok. Then silly me I updated my wife's 21" iMac. Came back to my iMac Pro and discovered I could no longer connect to the internet. It really spotty, you may connect to the first web site, then when trying to go to another one it just stalls. Watching the network traffic for safari it just stops. I tried switching to Firefox with the same results. Neither Safari, or Firefox will connect to local admin web pages on my router or NAS units. I can connect to the shares on then NAS units over the Ethernet cable. Another item that seems odd is if I have my second 27" monitor connected to my iMac Pro on a restart both monitors are set to maximum brightness a bit blinding. I have to go to the display preference and turn them down to a normal setting. I can see how this is going. My wife has been overseas for the last 4 weeks. I'm picking her up at the airport tomorrow. I can hear the conversation now "Hi dear welcome home by the way I bricked your computer last night."

Don't update to iOS 13 just yet -- wait for iOS 13.1

I'm sure upgrading early can be an issue for some depending on the programs/apps they are using. Personally I have always updated as soon as an update was available since the early '90's. Have never had a "memorable" issue, although I'm sure there were some, just nothing that was a "big deal" you might say. We have updated both phones, and a watch without any issues. -
iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max -- Hands on and first impressions
All this banner back and forth really doesn't mean much if you are tied to the apple system. My wife and I have 2 - iPhone, 2 - iPad pros, 1- iMac pro, 1 - iMac, 1-15" MacBook Pro, 3 - Apple TV's', 2-Apple Credit cards, 2 - Apple Watchers, and 4- Home pods. We upgrade our phones every other year. This year I will be getting an iPhone 11 MaxPro, next year my wife will upgrade to "whatever" apple is offering, it just doesn't matter.
