  • FCC net neutrality protections to expire on Apr. 23 without intervention

That logo is amazing!  I wouldn't thought they could pack such emotion and strength into a simple logo.  Hats off to Musk.
You're kidding right? That logo is awful. It looks like it was done in MS Word by a secretary. Horribly outdated font, no sense of typography whatsoever. Hideously bad kerning.

  • Video: Apple HomePod vs. Google Home Max

HomePod is also HomeKit compatible and can control lights, thermostat, etc. That is a big plus for anyone planning on going that route. HomePod can even execute HomeApp commands from a remote location.

  • Apple Pay used by estimated 127M users globally, but analyst claims only 16 percent of iPh...

That's a dumb graphic. You can't authenticate the payment without having your finger on the Touch ID.

  • Fast Company ranks Apple as world's 'Most Innovative' for 2018

Roll back all the processor, screen, graphics, touch, and optical improvements. Pinnacle of tech has been achieved.
Ha Ha! You know, I really don't need anything more than an iPhone 6, but some people do. To each their own. I spend most of my time working on a 30" or 27" monitor. An iPhone screen is too small to be very useful for me. I mostly just use it for calls and text when I am away from my desk. I rarely need to take it out of my pocket, even in the car, so all the improvements you mention are trivial as far as I'm concerned. I use my Watch for Apple Pay, but most of the time for calls, text and FaceTime, I do that on my Mac. I use the camera very infrequently. If I want to do any serious photography I have a $10K+ camera outfit.

I'm definitely not one of those people you see tripping on the sidewalk and walking into people because they are staring at their phone.

  • Latest iOS 11 bug crashes devices sent Indian-language character [u]

I'm glad Apple was able to fix it but as far as I know India's Telugu language is not one of the 40 languages supported by iOS. The text probably originated on Windows with Indic Language Pack. It could have been received in an email and later copied into the iPhone Messages app. That said, Apple probably should have expected people to try to use unsupported languages and not let it crash the iPhone. Personally, I don't particularly like the way that iOS handles languages. It is really a hassle to communicate in more than one language at various times during the day, which applies to a large portion of the world's population. Apple expects one language ID and/or one localization at a time.
