Market share at the expense of profits. Weren't the pundits just concerned about Xiaomi, then Huawei? A close family member works for the latter and noted concern internally regarding margins over the last year. I think Apple's real concern is copyright infringement, and anti-competive gov't interference - e.g. blocking the sale of certain models, closing down iTunes and other content, etc.

Contradictatory indeed: "Apple is close-mouthed about upcoming product features, but analysts and reports from Asian component suppliers and others indicate that high-resolution displays based on OLED technology -- possibly with curved edges -- are likely to be part of the anniversary phone. A radical new design is not expected, according to analysts."

Referring to possible new 3D sensors: "That sensor could be upgraded to a higher-resolution version that could handle 3-D mapping for facial recognition, said Jim Morrison, vice president at TechInsights.

Some analysts also speculate the company could remove the phone's home button, placing it and a fingerprint sensor beneath the front display glass, based on patents the company has filed."

So in short, the phone is rumored to have a radical redesign and many new features, but isn't expected to be a radical redesign or include many new features...

Apple Park occupies thr old HP campus (located in the heart of Cupertino) vacated some years ago - ie the land is being repurposed, and not add to the footprint of SV. The new campus will help consolidate Apple staff among the Apple Park and One Infinity Loop, approximately 2 miles away. Now their buildings are all over Cupertino and Sunnyvale. Many employees commute by coach  - which reduces emissions and congestion. The new space also runs entirely on sustainable energy (solar and fuel cell) and features more EV charging ports than any company in SV.

You're not alone. I usually charge daily, but have gone working days (with one night of sleep) wearing the Watch with battery to spare. 

And Indian officials are concerned about Apple and other selling used ware...
