  • Apple is working to reinvent the seatbelt for the Apple Car

So unnecessary.   The best seatbelt light is no seatbelt light.

How about a friendly reminder in the voice of Siri to Please, fasten your seat belt instead of an annoying chime?
It's not even funny how many people does not use safety belt, helmet, etc.

  • Using Apple CarPlay impairs driver reaction more than alcohol, study shows

What a bs study. A device or a pelican almost hitting left side mirror can be ignored, or at worst it's over in seconds. Alcohol keeps you impaired for hours and it affects everything. You cant just snap out of it.

But on the other hand, a lot of people are driving and scrolling through their some feeds not looking at road for 5, 10 even 20 seconds. It's "normal" nowadays.

It's funny how you just notice it when you are riding a bike behind or next to a car. And if you politely knock drivers window and signal they should watch the road,  they freak out.

  • Oprah backs out of sexual assault documentary bound for Apple TV+, film will not air on Ap...

I'm continually super disappointed by Apple's conduct these days. From Genius Bar scams, to forum censorship, to now this bait n switch technique. Two prime examples of this include: iTunes. iTunes used to be a "digital jukebox" which has now morphed into a bloated horrible punishing confusing app, that primarily now spams &  sells you Apple's music service.  AppleTv. Apple Tv used to be a great way to experience movies, tv shows, in a way that was annoying/horrible on other platforms. Can you say logins/id's please? Or go to  whatever site / activate and Verify to view. Apple TV came up with an elegant solution to this problem and bundled it to a new app called Apple TV. Now with Apple TV + we once again get Apple's payed services shoved down our apple pi-holes . (there is a secret n there)  :pensive: Now my user experience  is awful. I counted almost in every row, and more than 6 times, Apple TV + encouraging me to "learn more"  "just try it"  "free trial" ya whatever Apple. The only thing I'm going to try is the freaking awesome ROKU imbedded tv that I set up for a friend. This thing had a software tuner, built-in to the Roku, which made for a seamless experience between streaming tv apps/channels/content, and actual cable box tuning. The only thing keeping Apple on top is that the Other's suck worse. From what I just experienced, at the start of this year, this could be changing. Apple beware.
What the f are you talking about. None of that is true.

  • Laid off Apple contractors listened to 1,000 Siri recordings per shift

I still don't understand why this is a problem with Siri. Of course they need to analyse recordings when something goes wrong with the "AI". That is the only way to fix it. People working with Siri recordings are under very strong confidentiality agreements. It's Apple. They know they can't talk about anything they might hear. That is part of privacy. A lot of people work with private information daily. Local supermarket clerk might know a lot about you.

  • Review: eero Wi-Fi is a solid option for Apple's outgoing AirPort

A small problem though. Eero is not available internationally, and as far as I know you can't even set it up outside US at the moment.

I really hope Apple still has some extra Magic and love for new Wi-Fi and Time Capsule.

To be forced to replace good old Time Capsule some day with eero or some more or less random wi-fi thingy made by someone who doesn't really care about the thingy gives me nightmares already.
