  • Nvidia GeForce Now launches on iOS & iPadOS Safari browser

"Access GeForce Now from your browser here. It will prompt you to add the website to your Home Screen as a bookmark. Once done it launches as if it were its own app, but it actually is just a full screen Safari window."

It is not a "full screen Safari window", it is a local web application. These things exist on iOS since the early versions, remember clock faces and alike? Any such web application can be installed by tapping Share then Add to Home Screen in Safari. As I experimented on the iPad, it works pretty well, just like any native iOS app downloaded from the AppStore. Account setup and Steam library sync has gone painlessly and fluently, I just couldn't go further due to lack of a game controller. nVidia has proved how such a bloodbath as the "native game streaming AppStore app" issue is so unnecessary.

  • Over 2,000 law enforcement agencies have iPhone encryption-breaking tools

I saw that Cellebrite device in an Apple Store. They were using it to quickly transfer Android data to the iPhone during the setup of the customer’s newly purchased iPhone.
How long ago did you see this as most of the Apple stores I have been in have gotten rid of them over a year ago. I think it had something to do with them getting into the unlock game.
Not recently, so they may have gotten rid of them as you noticed.

  • A custom USB-C cable can jailbreak the T2 chip in a MacBook Pro

Too much efforts to steal passwords via a keylogger, placing a spy-cam is much easier. Do security-sensitive guys still type passwords? Touch ID is everywhere...

  • Apple releases iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 updates

big trouble! When i connect my ipad  & iPhone to the Mac. Finder can’t read them and there’s no way to do a backup before updating ipad to iOS 14. The Finder page only displace a “Restore” button and seemingly only be able to do factory restore. It’s a vulnerability! If unfortunately you want to restore from your iOS13 backups, you may find all your data lost!
Try with an original Apple cable or a Apple certified MFI cable.
