I'm sure that oled screens are great and awesome.  So is the screen on my $449 ipad.  I just don't see where the marginal value of an oled screen will drive a higher net profit on ipads.  Assuming the galaxy tab s8 devices have oled screens and are at current comparable prices, I don't see how the ipad pro models can justify a 60-80% price increase in many people's eyes.  yes, some will buy it.  however, I think the price increase also forces people down to the ipad air or regular ipad.

The mac keyboards are very poor.  The never ending quest for thin has caused problems with efficiency of actual work.  Getting keyboards right is really hard. The thinkpads have the best keyboards.

Finally, comparing two devices that are actually about the same.  Lenovo as the successor to the IBM PC Company is really where you can get the apple to apple comparison, if you will pardon the pun.  

I haven't tried the apple 16" keyboard, but I can't imagine it being better than my 2018 Macbook Pro 15" keyboard.  My lenovo keyboard with the pointing stick is just better than the apple keyboard.  The workflow feels better.  It is just more comfortable.

specwise, they are both great machine with top quality hardware.  

I wish they would improve the keyboards that they have for actual work, like typing.  My thinkpad's keyboard is great.  It feels like a keyboard.  My mac keyboard, which I have to use for iOS development, is dreadful.

Good to see Apple increasing memory.  64 gigs is the minimum for new systems today for me.  I like the higher capacity SSDs as well, so that is impressive.  I’m very critical of Apple, but this is All and all, a good new system.  I hope the keyboard is an improvement.  The keyboard on my 2018 mbp is really bad, just horrible for development.
