  • iOS 14.2 beta code hints no free EarPods with 'iPhone 12'

It's one thing to not include a 5W USB mini-brick.  Everyone and his mother has one of those.  But... not including the lightning cable would be... unfortunate and customer-unfriendly.  First, this is will put a sour taste in the mouth of any "switcher" who has no lightning cables. Second, cables wear out, so even long-time iPhone users can benefit from having a spare.

As to the EarPods, I suppose it's understandable.  An iPhone is 100% functional without headphones.  However, I hope they do something like offer a discount on EarPods/AirPods with purchase of an iPhone.  Someone who wants wired headphones with their new iPhone shouldn't have to pay $20 for something that costs Apple a couple bucks or less.  Again, iPhone "switchers" won't have any lightning headphones they can reuse.
speaking personally, I now use a wireless charging stand for my iPhone , so no cable.  I also have so many apple cables I do not know what to do with them. Every time I bought a magic keyboard, Magic Mouse, and AirPods, they included a lightning cable. I actually think including that cable with all accessories is nuts. They could reduce the cost of all accessories by say $10 and lose the cable.

  • New AirPods firmware enables Spatial Audio, automatic switching

Mine have the new firmware. I ended up having to factory reset , and re-pair my AirPods Pro, as nothing would connect today. It must have been the firmware update that caused it. Good to know.

Yeah except using a 3rd party charger may void your warranty.
    When has that ever happened?

They would have to have evidence that damage to the phone was caused by the third party charger (whose warranty no doubt excludes damage to the attached device).
Just watch Louis Rossman on YouTube, he runs a Mac repair shop. The example of a woman who bought a third party adapter and fried her MacBook. She then tested her adapter on her friends MacBook, and fried that too. It happens.

  • How to pick the best monitor for studying and working from home

34" is not really a sweet spot as stated, as most monitors on the market in that size, or bigger are QHD, which tends to make text look jaggy, the DPI is not high enough. 32" is a better choice, because there are lots of 4K monitors in the market at that size, making the DPI much higher. I went for 32" at 4K

  • 'iPhone 12' predicted to ship without EarPods, will boost AirPods sales

take earpods that's fine but everyone better get the better charger not only the pro devices. Don't go giving us no pods and then stick us with that 5 watt bs to charge up

I disagree. No need to include a more expensive charger for all to accommodate the few that need to charge faster.
I'd bet Apple has data showing how long people leave the phones charging, say overnight.
I don't even use my charger, instead preferring to have the phone in a wireless charging cradle. Means you can use the phone while it charges, no messing around shoving the cable in every time you leave the desk. I think Apple should be encouraging the use of these sorts of devices. Another benefit is, it makes the battery last longer.
