Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 updated with new S Pen and dual camera
I got the S4 on sale as I wanted an OLED screen for movie watching while traveling. Thought I could maybe use Lightroom and some other apps too. I don't. Lightroom is absurdly slow on it, as is everything else compared to my iPad. That 855 chip better be an insane improvement for this thing to be anywhere near as good as an iPad. -
How to cope with just 128GB of SSD storage on your Mac mini or MacBook
I think the advice to simply not buy a Mac with 128GB is overstating it a bit. In our household we happen to own both machines mentioned here. I have the Mini with 256GB and my wife has one of the new Airs with 128GB. This is the same amount of storage she had on her previous MacBook Air. She owned that machine for 5 years and she never had a storage issue. I should mention, she doesn't use it for music and she doesn't have her photo library on there. Not because of storage issues though, she just doesn't care to have them there. She doesn't video edit, photo edit, or anything else that requires significant amounts of disk space. It is currently less than half full. So for her, the 256GB option would actually have been a waste of money.
For myself on the other hand, I was over 128GB on the first day. I have a huge amount of apps, a rather large Plex database, Lightroom database, large music library etc etc. 128GB would have been a disaster for me. If you are pretty certain about how you use the machine, I think it can be OK to go with the 128GB option. -
