Is it just me or does 2024 feel like one of the more exciting years for Apple Products in a long time? I am eagerly awaiting the launch of the M4 class MacBook Pros and Studios. Good time to trade in the old M1Max MacBook Pro!!

as many have said this was an expected portfolio rebalancing play. Also - they have a huge cash pile now and they tend to go for bold moves. I wonder which company they have on their radar.

If true then the Apple Silicon team is truly executing very well! 

If only including the modem in a few SKUs then that would imply the modem is not on the AS SoC but a distinct chip still and not delivering the full cost saving and space saving potential.

Overall I am hopeful that they managed to include it in all SoC's for the mobile handsets and iPads. 

Absolutely love my HomePods, have the 1st get, 2nd get and the mini. 

Siri is acting drunk most of the time these days, but still a great product.

Hoping for a HomePod 3 this fall.

I think there is a stealth way for apple to enter that market through PCC once it reaches some scale.

i do not think apple will enter the discreet server business, but instead sell IaaS/PaaS services via their cloud.

first segment could be app/ai devs that target iOS that host their backends on aws but prefer to have an Xcode native way to manage everything end to end.
