    There is nothing “AIR” about the current MacBook Air. They’ve stopped printing MacBook Air below the screen. It will become just a “MacBook” and true AIRs will be released within 24 months. They will weigh around the 2 lb mark and restore “Air” to the product line. You heard it here first.

    You’re spot on….the lightning connector as far as it’s physics is superior to USB-C. It snaps in place and keeps the connection. There’s no good reason phones need anything else. I’m cringing at the thought of not having it. Bowing down to EU demands is senseless and will create a TON OF WASTE. Super lame.

    Truth here is that MagSafe is appropriate for the current MBA line as many users play with Medium load apps like photoshop. Probably the biggest target demographic of the MBA line is students, and they will forget to charge overnight and always bring a charger and MagSafe will prevent many bad trip wire situations.
