Imagine if all of the endorsements stopped. No more swoosh on Tiger's hat, etc. Products would cost a heck of a lot less, and the "beautiful" people might have to work for a living.

I am going to bet that they never listened to any of those speakers off axis. Direct radiators will be awful when listened to off axis. HomePod is much more forgiving when listening from just about anywhere in the room it is in. CR misses one of the key benefits by not knowing how most people at home listen to music. We move around.
