iPhone 7 rumors postmortem: What the Apple rumor mill got right, and what it didn't
At one time or another, pretty much everything that was even remotely possible appeared as a rumor. I'm not sure you can credit the rumor mongers with being "right" or "wrong" about anything. Even a blind pig occasionally finds an acorn.

Seems there is a possibility here of using them as hearing aids. I know that the hearing aid industry would object and say that they are the only ones that can supply hearing aids as "medical devices". We'll see what develops.

I suppose that many of these developers eventually graduated from grade school or got a real job and left their childhood interests, including developing Apps, behind.
