  • Review: Louis Vuitton Horizon earbuds are the luxury headphones you can't afford

"...No real noise cancelling". Why bury this fact in the very last sentence?  For me, that's a deal breaker at any price.  It's the feature I best like about my AirPods Pro.  I use it even when I'm not listening to music, for example when I'm trying to get something done in a noisy environment.  Maybe Vuitton will eventually offer a noise-cancelling version for $2500.  I'll stick with my white plastic gems.

  • Safari to reject HTTPS certificates with over thirteen months validity

So my websites and apps that use 2 year certificates purchased from Godaddy are going to be rejected by Safari starting in September?

They have completely lost the plot at this company. Obviously some bizarre takeover occurred in the last few years where lawyers are now running software development.
I hope your programming skills are better than your reading skills:  "Certificates issued before September 1 will not be subject to the change until the date of their next certificate renewal."

Actually, starting from $0, it's 2/3 the way to $2T.

  • Final 'big four' Australian bank folds, announces Apple Pay rollout by mid-2020

What I want to know is when are sit-down restaurants in the U.S. gonna get with the program? Nice getting cash back at fast food favorites, but I want to get something back on my fine dining bills where it really matters. Probably have to wait until we catch up with the rest of the world where they bring the wireless terminal right to your table.
I had lunch yesterday at Applebee's (in RI).  There's a terminal right at the table that accepts Apple Pay.  Gas stations are in the process of setting up Apple Pay at the pumps, but I don't know of any that are activated yet.  Interestingly, at some full-service stations, the pumper guy/girl carries a portable payment device that accepts Apple Pay.

  • Future Apple Watch may help treat Parkinson's Disease or diagnose tremor symptoms

I believe there already are health insurers and employers that are giving/lending Apple watches to patients/employees for the purpose of monitoring their health. As for Magsafe, it never worked well for me. It unplugs itself at the slightest tug or bend, and my cats manage to unplug it several times a day. No improvement with several changes of power bricks, including a new USB3 brick plus USB3-to-Magsafe2 cable.
