  • Apple Watch Ultra 2 vs Apple Watch Ultra - Specs, price, and features, compared

I have definitely felt that previous versions of the Watch were not bright enough, but 2,000 nits is perfectly good enough for me. The other added stuff seems kind of cool but not enough to justify me upgrading. I'm perfectly happy with the one I have. Until this year, I have actually upgraded every year starting with the 4. Every year they would make the screen brighter or larger or add must-haves, like an always-on-display. this is also the first watch that doesn't scratch, which is also a must-have for me. So this is basically the first watch that I have felt was good enough. But honestly, I can see how 3,000 nits would be better than 2,000 nits. But 2,000 is not horrible and I'm just going to stick with the one I have. Another good point is that the Watch has a significantly lower resale value compared to the iPhone. If I could get a 57% trade-in value for the Watch, I would probably do it.

  • How Apple is already using machine learning and AI in iOS

I’m wondering if the Apple Car will have a similar fate as the Apple Television Set. It’s hard for me to see how they can innovate on building cars. We already have EV and self-driving, and we already have big digital displays. Cars have been innovating like crazy in the last few years. Instead of building the actual vehicles, Apple should license the software instead. Like CarPlay, but much more advanced. I can’t imagine buying a car built by Foxconn.

  • Apple is eliminating the social media support roles from Twitter and others

Mistake.  Asynchronous support channels are important.  I use Twitter for support  for a lot of companies as I can respond at my pace and convenience.   Instead of wasting time on hold on the phone.

What about the official Apple support “Apple Messages for Business” account?
I don't know about "Apple Messages for Business" account but I would be very surprised if they took that away. I think they just mean third party apps. I'm sure that people will still be able to get support through the Messages App. I have received help through the Messages App a few times and I prefer that method over phone support.

  • App Store terms probably won't stop X from turning off the block feature

The “spirit of the law” is quite clear in Apple Developer Guidelines. Removing the ability for someone to block another account eliminates their ability to prevent “bullying”, an activity clearly stated by Apple in more than one area of their guidelines.

Direct messages are only one way to bully someone. Constantly showing up in a persons threads and making comments is another form of bullying. I think Apple will respond if Musk removes the ability for users to block any account they wish.
I guess the "spirit of the law" is whatever you believe it to be. X still retains the right to block users from the service. If an individual doesn't like another individual's posts, then the offended individual can just block the posts from showing up on their feed. How are you offended if you don't see it? How is it up to an individual person to decide if someone should be blocked from the service altogether. For example: I personally feel that Elon Musk is an extremist, so I unfollowed him. Now, I no longer see his crazy ass posts. If you like his vile filth, then you can follow him. How does it affect me, if I don't personally see his posts?

If they call it X, I will sh*t.   X is stupid, just like that idiot who called his company X.   This isn’t 2000.

Yeah, Apple has never been successful with “X” naming for major products… Max OS X … iPhone X … /s
Exactly. I was sifting through the comments to see if someone would bring this up. Apple was first. Musk copied Apple.
