'Call To The Wild' Apple Watch Ultra ad leans into extreme adventure
I just received my Ultra today. I’m kind of surprised that he didn’t mention the thickness as a drawback. I actually do feel a bit uneasy about the thickness. I also don’t like the orange on the watch or on the band. I didn’t realize at the time of order that the Trail Loop band has an orange tab on it. Hopefully the good outweighs the bad. I was actually debating whether to get the titanium or stainless steel on the series 7 for the sapphire glass but I just thought that the cost wasn’t going to be worth it. But it does bother me that my series 7 has scratches on it so that’s a big reason why I went for the Ultra. Battery life was another huge draw. Andrew mentioned that it has a 49 mm screen but it really doesn’t. It has a 49 mm case. The case is a lot bigger but the screen is only a little bigger. It looks a lot bigger because it’s flat instead of curved. the regular watch looks smaller than it is because the edge the the screen curves down at the edges. -
TP-Link's new Wi-Fi 6E mesh router uses 6GHz bands for speed
I bought a TP-Link Archer router about a year ago because I started having buffering issues with my AirPort Extreme. I had to send it back because the TP-Link router was even worse and I was having extreme buffering issues with AirPlay. I moved the TP-Link router around to different locations and including different height levels. I got it to where the buffering problem with my streaming shows were mostly fixed but I was never able to solve the AirPlay issue. But when I reconnected the AirPort to the new location, my buffering issues were 95% solved including the AirPlay issues that I was having with TP-Link. That was a very frustrating experience. I might as well stick to AirPort for now because my computer doesn’t even support WiFi 6. -
Aventon Pace 500 e-bike review: Great balance of price, power, and heft
This does seem interesting and it sounds like a great option for people who are not in the best physical condition and are apprehensive about riding a bike. I won’t be buying one, though. I’m not in great shape and my legs are a little jello like but I would still prefer a regular bike without assist in order to maintain or improve my physical condition. And I was shocked by the 52lb. weight. It’s hard for me to imagine a bike that heavy. Riding the bike without assist must be a chore and slow going.
