  • EU antitrust bill could force Apple to make sweeping changes to Siri, App Store & More

Cool. The pressure is on. Maybe apple will now contemplate paying its fair share in taxes to European countries it operates in to make this bill more palatable. When you steal from the hand that feeds you time after time again something like this was inevitable and it makes perfect sense that google and amazon are next.
Do you mean that EU wants to steal from Apple which feeds EU?
EU has the thing that apple needs: customers with the cash and access to financial instruments to purchase and keep purchasing their products. But the EU gets a rotten deal because digital services are taxed elsewhere if at all and way bellow actual value. Apple has been very naughty (polite way of saying that they are stealing) and refused to pay fair taxes.

I think this is a shakedown. Pay us what you owe or else thing. What is disconcerting is that the EU has fallen to the level of the likes of apple/google/samsung to get what it wants.

That is ridiculous. Apple does not dictate the amount of taxes they pay. If Apple is paying a low tax then it’s because a certain country offered that low tax but Apple is certainly not demanding anything.

Apple should work on MacOS's speed, and iCould's interface mimic that of the MacOS - yet they are working on kiddy porn.
Why does it have to be either or? They are not allowed to work on multiple things at the same time?

  • Apple may keep 'iPhone 14 Pro' camera bump to hold larger 48MP sensors

I’d prefer Apple making the 14 Pro slightly thicker if it meant getting rid of the bump.
Remember, most people put their phone in a case, which negates the bump but can’t negate additional thickness.
I guess I’m one of the few who don’t want a case, and my phones have always stayed in pristine condition without a case. I put my phone in a case for the 13 Pro because it doesn’t lie flat without a case but I would go back to no it using a case if there were not such a pronounced bump. The 12 Pro had a bump but it was not really too bad whereas in the 13 Pro it became more extreme. I like the better cameras and larger sensors so I guess I would prefer for the phone to be a little thicker. Now the rumors are for the megapixels to go sky high with even larger sensors. It’s hard for me to come out against that, but I still don’t like the extreme bump idea. In my opinion the phone looks nicer without a case.
I'm one that doesn't use a case and I've never had a problem with the camera bump. I guess I'm not one to put my phone on a flat surface to use it—I weirdly use my iPhone in my hand.
I also put it in my hand to use it but I still like it to lay flat on a surface instead of teeter totter. If I’m weird then so be it.

I like it much better than Sierra Blue. I wish they had released them in opposite order.
    I agree completely.

Remember when that old anti-Trump, pro-Putin invading Ukraine guy on here said that you should never listen to the Apple Watch saying anything about ECG readings because it was just a fashion accessory and only a single-lead ECG that could never amount to a real-world use that could lead to saving lives? I do.
Your comment is very contradictory. Trump is very pro Putin and very frequently praises him and says nice things about Russia. Also, why bring politics into a non politics story. Also, how do you know that the guy is even old when the ECG feature didn’t even come out that long ago?
My post is factual. You’ll have to ask the poster to whom I’m referring why he’s so contradictory.
I’m not saying that your post is not factual. Just contradictory. You said that a poster was anti-Trump and at the same time pro-Putin. I was just pointing out that Trump is also pro-Putin.
