iPhone 14 Pro review: The best power & camera to cost balance
I'm not expecting to be able to use the always-on display. I went through such an aggravating time with my phone calling my emergency contact while mowing my lawn. I tried a few different things before finally deleting my emergency contact information. Then, after a month, I decided to add the emergency contact back in and try one final idea. I turned off both the raise to wake and tap to wake features. Bingo. No more inadvertent calls to my emergency contact. But now I have to actually press the sleep/wake button in order to turn on my phone. But for me it's worth it to avoid all of the aggravation with inadvertent calls. It seems like it must be only happening to me because I never hear complaints about it. -

Apple Watch Pro could have a $900 price tag at launch
I totally forgot that Apple uses two different forms of display glass. The aluminum watch uses Ion-X glass which is similar to Gorilla Glass and the high end watches use Sapphire-Crystal glass. I did some research and found out that the only thing that can scratch sapphire-crystal glass is diamond. So I guess if you really hate scratches you can buy either the stainless steel or titanium models and they very likely won’t scratch. or I guess this years Pro model as well. -

New AirPods Pro coming at iPhone 14 Apple Event
It doesn't really affect me whether or not the charging is via Lightning or USB-C but it definitely needs a longer lasting battery. I will probably have to wait for 3rd party accessories to arrive though. The AirPod Pros will not stay in my ears without attaching 3rd party ear hooks. They have the kind that go over the ear like the PowerBeats Pro but I have the kind that just tuck inside one of the folds of the outer ear. They are very comfortable and my AirPod Pros have never fallen off no matter what I do or for how long with the ear hooks in place. The cost is $14.99 for three pairs so I think it's pretty reasonable. But I do wish that Apple made AirPods that don't fall out. This is a case where Apple does not live up to the mantra of "It Just Works" in my opinion.
