How to make the most of Apple's Calendar, and when to opt for an alternative
I'm surprised you didn't mention BusyCal. I've used it for years and find it much superior to the Apple Calendar. (Admittedly, at this point that may be due to how familiar I am with BusyCal.) However, over the years their support has been outstanding and they continually update the app to keep up with changes to the MacOS and iOS. I tried Fantastical for a while but much prefer BusyCal.
